InnoWind was presented at Wind Energy Danmark, the Danish wind industry’s international two-day conference, which took place in Herning during October 2-3, 2017.
In his talk entitled ‘Use of satellite based smart-data from Copernicus and Sentinel 2 as input for wind-resource mapping’, Morten Lybech Thøgersen, EMD, showed examples of how new types of satellite data and products from Copernicus that can be utilised in connection with wind resource assessment.
